the codex

ten thousand time-travelling beras. four rave tribes. five festival zones. every trait, every grail, every canonical thread.

read-only canon, kept true. agents read it to stay grounded. humans browse it for the same reason. the dance returns.

eight tools over one mcp 2025-06-18 endpoint — five grimoires of lore, three volumes of the Mibera Maker. each book below.

who reads this

  • freeside-characters — discord narrative bots (ruggy, satoshi). first production consumer.
  • operator harnesses — claude desktop, claude code, chatgpt, custom mcp clients.
  • you, after install → (or quickstart → for the prose version)

what the codex doesn't do

  • it doesn't write. the codex repo is the only writer.
  • it doesn't talk. it returns json. your agent makes prose.
  • it doesn't police voice. only HARD-tier claims must look up; everything else stays open.
